Featured Post: Hop-in and Hop-out Painting People

There was a meeting between the parents and class teachers of Fifth-formers and Third-formers that was held around 11 o’clock. We were really super-free for the rest of the day, so we couldn’t resist finishing up the wall painting on the girls’ toilet. Rolling up our sleeves, we began spreading paint on to the walls.

Boredom really does wonders to people’s minds, I have to admit. In the previous week, no one would so much step into the toilet however we tried to convince them to help us paint the walls (must be that annoying taboo about toilets). But today…WOW!

“Can we help or not?” Two heads stuck into our toilet while we were huffing and puffing away as we painted with our rollers. I looked up. They were girls from my class, who apparently couldn’t stand not doing anything for the rest of the day any longer.

“Sure can! Come in!” Self-Declared Openness called. She was even gladder than I was that there was someone helping us. Within seconds she pushed the roller into their hands and immediately went searching for a place to sit down. I followed suit later.

After my two classmates lent a helping hand for a some period of time, more and more students tried their hand at roll-painting as they went in and out of the toilets. We really have to thank them for it; at least we had some rest while they pop into the toilet, paint for a while, and then pop out of the toilet before another person takes over.

The girl’s toilet has been finished painted purple.
