VonageI had Vonage for my business line for about a year. The service was “iffy” from the start. We often had dropped calls and sometimes when customers called, they got either no answer or a message that the number was not currently in service.

Starting last month, every single call either dropped or the service cut in and out during the call. When a customer called, I would immediately get their phone number and use my cell phone to call the customer back. Disgusted, I ordered new service from Voip.com, and when my phone number transferred over, I called in to cancel my Vonage service.

Even though the Vonage account manager admitted that they “had audio issues for a short while”, she told me those issues were resolved and I was not entitled to a refund on my bill for the that month, nor would they waive the $39.99 disconnect fee. She would not even refund my account the maximum daily rate for loss of service as stated in my service contract. I have learned my lesson.

I’m so glad I left Vonage when I did. Recently, they have been in the news and are virtually near collapse because of some patent infringement case. Save your money and steer clear of Vonage. Voip.com has been great and I keep hearing good things about SunRocket.
