Yesterday was Freshmen Day at school, meaning…FA orgs get to kiss freshie asses to join their orgs heehee. Kidding. Both my orgs, Lunarock (a comic book and illustration org) and AVCOM (a visual comm major-oriented org..wasn’t aware AVCOM’s being revived by the new 4th year students!) got the most applicants…success ^_^! BTW, Tzad made a great job directing (or making it…he did the video by himself, methinks) the video presentation for Lunarock…Philipp, the actor in the vid, was also super…no wonder people flock in front of the college TV whenever our AVP is played. Great great job, people! ^_^I had an Advanced Figure Drawing class that afternoon too. The prof asked us to draw a self-portrait on the spot. Gah. I did not bring any materials with me (because I wasn’t aware that we need sketch materials today…what was I thinking?!) so I had to borrow a 12×18 sketch paper from Alex, an Hb from Christian, an eraser from Lester, a blue something “pencil” from Fritz. Gah. Was so embarrassing. I am not so much comfy using other artists’ materials too, that’s why I couldn’t concentrate much (am weird I know). Anyway, through that self sketch session I realized I reaaally need to practise my shading techniques (or lack of it) and my tonal values. Will post the evidentiary drawing once my prof return the class’ sketches. You’ll see what am talking about. Hehe. (I wonder how my prof would critique my drawing…can’t wait to hear it, I might get tips from him.)
Speaking of post, might as well post a digital painting of meself as the Lunarock.s “The Code Keeper”. Nifty huh? Actually it meant “secretary”, we got the codename idea from the POTC we all watched together as an org. We’re cool like that. Wait till you hear what our P.R.O. is codenamed as…heehee. I painstakingly made that digi painting just yesterday ..uh..midnight..okay, morning. Yeah, it was really painstaking, because for some reason I could not paint skin tones decently. Gah, it was really frustrating! Anywhoo, here it is:

Cheese portion here (do not read if you’re allergic to it ^_^). I got to watch (or web cam watch X-P ) Luchi sleep yesterday morning. Sigh. It’s really hard to be in a LDR, you only get to see them live through web cams and sent vids…I so wanted to at least hug him a bit or maybe throw ounches at him a bit…So sad. But we’ll see each other in…*looks at last post* eleven months, four weeks aaaand one day. Sigh. Haha. Kewlness! And speaking again of the Luchiness…he meddled with my Friendster account again! That sneaky duck face! He changed my primary photo again. Kewl. And boo! He changed my shoutout too (yeah shoot me with your rolling eyes…I told you to stay away from this portion if you hate cheese heehee~), we kind of turned our Friendster shoutout box into a sort of like ref message posting area. I didn’t get to message him yesterday though. Gah, missed him sooo much. Hope we’ll catch each other after I go home from my classes this afternoon…
