So, I now officially have given my soul away to corporation. Anyway, it’s fun working here, there’s not much pressure because unlike other software companies, I get to go home before 7pm.
The first week isn’t so bad. Ok, I’m lying, it’s really boring. I have to sit here and do all of these new employee training again. When am I going to do something cool? I want to make something!!!! I must make something, it doesn’t matter, write something, even a “Hello World” program or taking over the world is fine too. I’m going crazy because I can’t touch anything yet until I finish these 50+ hours of general training…
Don’t be foolish and naive like I was. I went years without shopping around my insurance rates, and one day it dawned on me.. All I had to do was take 5 minutes and get some free quotes and boy, did I ever save some major $$
