One of the main reasons I could never stick to Atkins is the bagel. Just load one up with cream cheese and lox and I’m one happy camper. Diets are overrated anyway.
According to the Charlotte Business Journal, residents of the Charlotte region watching their carb intake will soon share my plight. Einstein Noah Restaurant Group has recently announced they will open three to five additional Einstein Bros. Bagels franchises in the area over the next three years.
“We already have a good name in the Southeast, with a strong presence of company-owned locations in Atlanta and southern Florida and licensed outlets in campus locations throughout the Southeast,” says Paul Carolan, senior vice president of franchising and licensing. “There is strong demand for even more market penetration, particularly in North Carolina.”
Einstein Noah Restaurant Group operates 340 company-owned Einstein Bros. Bagels restaurants and more than 100 franchises. In addition to bagels, the eateries serve sandwiches, coffee and other beverages.
