The Relentless Slog

Lately there has been little in the way of blog fodder. I am knitting but I am knitting the same things I was last month. And probably the month before that. The one new addition to the FO status is a Chevron Scarf.

• Needles: US 5 (Denise)
• Notes: Needs to washed and it curls like crazy but I love the colors together. Also, these are addictive.

I thought I had finally gotten the knack for these things but after two failed attempts (both using Sherbet which I’m beginning to think is just way to bright for anything but socks) I’m not so sure. It’s a good thing I have so many other projects to do otherwise the mystery of a nice looking Chevron Scarf would be taunting me mercilessly.

Instead I’m putting in an hour a day on the Moderne blanket so as to be in giftage form by mid-November when it will have to be mailed. And I am systematically working through the projects currently on the needles. It is a relentless slog but I have to remember that at one point I loved each and every one of these projects. And to remember to tell myself that. Often.
