Ball Position

I know people have diffrent thoughts about this topic, but Im gonna make it simple. Not matter what club I have in my hand regardless if its driver or 56* wedge..I have got to position the ball off my left heel..(Right Handed)..If I try to place the ball toward the middle of my stance with my irons… I get shots that go to the right…Like a blocked out shot or something..But the shot is weak and tends to fade a little.(Not a Slice)..So whats yall thoughts..Is it ok to have a constant left heel ball position with all clubs.. My stance do change with shorter clubs though…It gets a little narrower.
