I’ve realised that we have a lot of altars in our house, on shelves, mantelpieces and other odd corners. Here’s the one in the kitchen. I don’t know where the Buddha came from - I think supermum found him/her in a charity shop. The painting is one of my favourites by dudelet which he told us was called “New Rainbow”. I’ve had the candlesticks for 25 years. The tortoise belongs to dudelet but tends to get broken so he now lives under Buddha’s protection with his glued on leg and nodding head. I’m not sure what’s in the little white pot and the picture behind the tortoise is one of redpill’s famous (with me, anyway) book page pictures. Th remaining sketch is, of course, dudelet. In case you mistook it for something cubist and expensive.
