Need a light, lacy knit belt to wear over your long tops?

Here’s one I knit 2 months ago. It’s just one row pattern you repeat for about 50 times. I knit it in beige because most of my outfits are beige, blue and pink.  This is how light it looks:

Skinny Scarf turned into Belt: Beige Belt pattern instructions
:

From a Long Thin Knit Scarf blog at www.1KnitScarf.com

  • Pick a tough yarn so the lace stays visible, like a “Red Heart” brand.
  • Row 1: Knit 1, yarn over, knit 2 together, knit 1, yarn over, knit 2 together
  • Repeat this in every row.  Knit 50 rows of this pattern so it can loosely hang to your knees.

You’ve basically knitted a thin long scarf. Now turn it into a belt by getting a decorated ponytail, grab both ends of scarf tie it up as if you would your hair. Let both ends just lay and it looks unique.

Wear it over any plain white, beige, or black long top and you’ve made your outfit unique.

Belisi scarves are so beautiful! They’re having a big sale on their website and I just bought 3 scarves for $5 each.
