This morning I enjoyed a perfect KNIT-OUT at the new Glendora Barnes Noble. I had everything I needed for a great day. Hundreds of knitting books to breeze through, friends who joined me and lot of knitting going on. I’m currently working on one of two pattern version of the famous chevron scarf and am thinking if I should follow Angelika’s advice and join the Chevron Scarf blog. I did one of them many years ago, (Chevron scarf) although the pattern is the same (k2, *k1 M1, k4, sl1, k2tog, slip the slipped stitch from the right to the left needle over the k2tog, k4, k1, M1, k1* end with k2. It’s a pattern repeat over 13 stitches) but we called it differently.
Anyhow, I bought (who would have guessed?) two books for my personal knitting library; At Knits End from Stephanie Pearl-McPhee and the second one is from Iris Schreier, Lacy Little Knits. I’m not all done reading them yet I will let you know what I think.
Last that I don’t forget check website when you’re a cat lover. website with wonderful hilarious pictures of cats. http://icanhascheezburger.com/
Belisi scarves are so beautiful! They’re having a big sale on their website and I just bought 3 scarves for $5 each.
