For those who are curious, the first two pattern repeats of the Path of the Heart scarf are finished.

Do excuse the bad colour quality. It’s a grey rainy day outside, and that particular shade of blue-grey in the yarn seems rather hard to photograph properly even in really good lighting. (Which that apartment rarely seems to have.)

The pattern in part of one used in the Butterfly Shawl from Folk Shawls. Why I named this scarf Path of the Heart is because of the winding trails of YOs and decreases that mix and mingle and form sideways hearts. Not very original, I’ll grant you, but it seems fitting.

It’s a fairly easy pattern to do, skill-wise, but requires some actual attention paid to which row I’m on. I’ve been using a lifeline for this after having to rip it back three times already. The pattern repeats are fairly long, but having to redo one repeat is much easier than redoing two.
