The latest advertising trend sweeping the dieting and weight loss is the call for guinea pigs. Wanted 30 people to try NEW weight loss sample packs, or Wanted 30 people 2 try Sample Pack FREE! are becoming common banners for Adsense dieting ads. Let’s analyze a few of these for profitability and see what you can do to get a few Adsense clicks.
Top of the pops is the Lose 10kg fast! advert by calorie-cure.com. The advertiser’s landing page reveals Shapemaximizer as the product behind the ad. The usual before-and-after models adorn most of the page but the most prominent feature, which is consistent with the Adsense ad, is the application form to become a guinea pig.
Essentially, the advertiser is giving away free samples of the weight loss product, which is a good thing for Adsense sites. Websites could target this ad with content that emphasizes the free sample aspect and get quite a few hits on this basis alone. From the headline keywords weight loss it is predictably a high paying advert as well. The downside is that the offer is for a limited time, so you will have to move fast to benefit from the ads novelty.
If you get a chance, check out weighins.com. It’s a supportive close-knit community for people wanting to lose weight. With a free membership you can join a weight loss challenge (like the Biggest Loser tv show). You also get a free calorie counter and a personal diet journal. I like it much better than sparkpeople.
