I received a message from an eHarmony guy who has currently been my most “normal” match. He hasn’t done anything odd or said anything strange. His profile looks normal. He’s attractive. He’s Christian but not conservative/right-wing.
He wrote to tell me his subscription was ending and that he had met someone on another site. He said in his three months on eHarmony, I was the only one with whom he had reached Open Communication. (I guess I should take that as a compliment?) He suggested I try Chemistry.com since he has had more success with that site. Then he gave me his number if I was interested in being friends. (Huh?)
Well, I was glad to hear I’m not the only one unhappy with eHarmony. I’m not sure if I want to join another online site, at least not just yet. After my subscription ends in mid-October, I think I’ll need a break.
