I love the biggest loser. I love Jillian. Just the kind of trainer I like. And the muscle development I love. I spent a good many hours looking for something concerning her training. What it is she does. Couldn’t find it though. I guess it is top secret stuff. …

My guess is that she obviously does weight training. and boot camp style activities. I am adding much more strenious and serious weight training in my workout plan. The book “you on a diet” just suggests 30 mins a week but I like to be much more muscular so a few times per week works out better for me.

I am getting very close to being able to complete the beginners pilates workout perfectly. Most exercizes, at this point, I can do easily, I guess about 75% are easy 10 % are doable but challenging and 5% I can’t quite do right yet. In a week or 2 I should move to intermediate.

I love that Jillian Michaels 1. looks great, and 2, I love her personality and style. When you really break it down and get honest with yourself you (and Myself, and everyone) are fat and out of shape because we have been lazy, and have taken the short term, easy way out. I love that Jillian is kick ass, make you sweat, don’t think about takng the easy way out, trainer. Every fat person in the world prefers an easy trainer when they start. Why - becuase they are not used to sticking it out, to giving it everything you got and pushing yourself past your comfort levels. So a trainer who doesn’t do that, doesn’t challenge, is more liked. While that is a strategy since the overweight are more likely to stick with it and not quit tomorrow, it doesn’t get you where you need to be. Long term it is not as helpful.

The Jillian philosophy represents to me the idea of “you have been slacking, now suck it up and pick up the pace.”. This works for me because overall I am more accepting of myself and my flaws. I can admit defeat just as easily as I can admit success. Being ok with failure, makes me try more things. Which gives me more experience, which helps me succeed more often.
