Does anyone know Medfast?  Apparently its a similar program to NS but they supply 5 prepackaged meals a day and you eat your own ‘lean and green’ dinner.  Someone I work with has lost 29 pounds in just over a month on it.  She eats under 1,000 calories a day.  I thought a healthy calorie per day for women is around 1200?  She’s doing a great job but makes me wonder if its better/worse than NS?  I figure at least with NS I can add fruit and veggies and protein.  I don’t know if I could eat 5 prepackaged meals a day.  I enjoy being on NS and would not give it up but I am curious to know how these 2 programs compare.
