As the title suggests I’m back to exploring the wonders of leading the ’single’ lifestyle. With all the horrors…I mean happiness that ensues 
This isn’t one of those paid to post endeavors. It’s really my venting about how going back into the dating world at 46 .. umm yes 47 next week, is very eye opening. I felt pretty isolated until I found online dating and saw that there were many people in the same situation as myself.
…Yes I know, we have to be VERY careful but I hope I have a bit of an advantage being psychically inclined in figuring out motives of the men I come in to interaction with.
I have tried the sites that you can have a “free” account and then to communicate with others you have to pay. It sort of becomes a “peep show” if you don’t have the considerable cash to cough up on a monthly basis. You can look but you can’t talk lol
I finally found this site Plenty of Fish which members refer to affectionately as POF.
The guy who “still runs it out of his apartment on one computer” boasts that there are millions of members all over the world…and it’s true. Everything is Free! There is so much to do there messages, IM, Forums and little quizzes to give you some insight into your personality and those that you would be more attracted to… if you believe these things.
I think because it is free and people don’t have a lot at stake it has a more fun, breezy and relaxed atmosphere. I am having fun there meeting people and soon I’ll be able to make sincere, smart, sarcastic remarks on the forums too! lol
I was surprised to find quite a few guys from my area as members. I wasn’t surprised to find that most of the New Age, Spiritual types, do not live in my area! lol
I put up a nice psychic, Hi there I’m weird profile to scare off any of those that might have issues with who I am. *big grin* I love it!
…With references to light bulbs going out and occasionally exploding overhead as I walk under them… they might think I’m joking… not! but hopefully my readers here understand and have probably experienced it themselves
So if your single. I do recommend it. Even if you just want to kill some time on a slow evening and want someone to talk to.. there’s always a few people online to IM.. like 100,000 or so *grin*
