Friday, I had the opportunity to visit “The Greatest Jamba Juice Store” in the USA. The owner, Ryan Arfmann greets all his customers with first name enthusiasm and genuine warmth, as does the rest of the staff every time…I love that store!
We have had a particularly hard winter season this year and so I spoke to Ryan about the changes in the season coming up. He brought me a wonderful breakfast treat they are offering on the 28th of February. You have got to try this stuff! They are really shaking things up over at Jamba Juice, coming up with new and heartier breads, granola topped smoothies for breakfast, all ready adding new formulas for smoothies, and I’m sure bringing on new smoothie flavors and Juices!…I can’t get my husband out of that place now as it is, I’ll never get him out of there now! He goes there for Lunch and since he went back to school, he goes there for Dinner, now he’ll start going there for breakfast too.
I wrote an article a couple of months ago about an Ice Cream Shop owner who was wanting to increase his share of the “confection” market…talking about “how do I compete with the health of Jamba Juice…”this is one of the ways…shake your market up, innovate your products, make them functional and fun, more desirable then what everyone else has. I told him the New Ice Cream is Gelato, low fat and using a low glycemic, all natural sweetener would do the trick for him. Glycemic friendly, fits in well with the NutraSystem diets and other glycemic index diets that are so popular right now.

I don’t know if there are people that just shouldn’t be in a face to face business, but I know that Mr. Arfmann’s personality and what he demands from his staff, keeps his store unique and homestyle, which is a wonderful change from the impersonal world that we have made for ourselves. Mr. Arfmann demands a warmth from his staff that spills over to the product Jamba Juice creates,making the combination a one-two punch for those of us who demand the very best.
The new product line will be released on February 28th, 2008, and I am encouraging everyone to head to the best store in the US…Ryan Arfmann’s Jamba Juice in Ammon Idaho. I’m telling you, “Healthy with an Attitude”! Get there for breakfast now…start your day with a blast.
