Do you have the “upper hand” in your web business?
If you’ve already shifted your sites Blog to Wordpress blogs, then
yes you do. Here’s why:
1- Wordpress Is A Super CMS
Try not to think of Wordpress as a “blogging” software, because
then you’ll only be using it when you want to create a blog.
In fact, Wordpress is a simple but complete CMS or Content
Management System which can be used for static sites, e-commerce
sites, company sites, membership Sites, Portals and much more.
All you need to do is find the right theme, and the right tips
on how to turn it into a CMS.
2- Wordpress is Scaleable
Simply Start with a few pages, and in 6 months to a year move up to 10,000 !
Wordpress can handle this easily and you can even add on more
functions to improve the capabilities of Wordpress using plugins.
3- Wordpress is Open Source
You don’t have to pay anyone royalties or monthly fees, except
for your hosting company and your domain name (more about that
below)
I think sometimes people don’t realize the potential of “Open
Source”. Imagine Coke sharing the recipe with you, and allowing
you to add and improve their basic product without a lot of
restrictions.
That’s the power of it! You can easily hire someone to modify
or merge your Wordpress blog into your forum software, or even
create a new CMS based off it, and not have to pay anyone any
royalty or other meaningless fees.
That’s UNFAIR ADVANTAGE for you! If your competitors aren’t
already using Wordpress, then soon they are going to be miles
behind you and wondering what hit them. :o)
Speaking of which, I’m talking about “self-hosted” Wordpress
blogs here, not the free ones at Wordpress.com
Im talking about the Free Version downloadable at WordPress.org..
Of course if you get setup with HostGator or simular hosting companies they usually
have Wordpress as a “one Click” Auto-Install !
I highly recommend (unless you’re blogging for fun) that you
invest in a good domain GoDaddy is Best ! ) get your own web hosting server
and take control of your Wordpress blog.
4. your Site - your content -100% Revenue
When you’re paying for your own server you can do basically
anything you want with Wordpress, and you’re not subjected
to someone else’s Terms of Service and advertising limitations.
Unlike Using other HOSTED Blogs, you can “Lace” your Site with your Ads etc etc
.. and If you are like me you can upload any content you see fit - You are IN CHARGE !
I like to Post new *top* quality articles etc for my readers/subscribers as often as I have time !
just Get WordPress folks - you`ll see why you needed it pretty soon after you get it.
I promise !
Enjoy.

I wasn’t impressed Godaddy and their hosting. Domain names are fine with Go daddy, but for hosting, I wouldn’t touch them with a 10 foot pole. Read my Godaddy review.
