Yes, we had a GREAT time partying with our good friends the “miteslurs” and the other friends that we met at their house! Miteslur and I each brought South Beach friendly snacks and then there were the “other snacks” that were already there…. ! lol I made a hummus and big tray of veggies, and then there were whole wheat tortilla roll-ups, salsa, velveta and salsa mixed into a hot dip, deviled eggs and of coarse drinks! =D I was nominated designated mixologist, so I mixed em up and again and again and… lol We played rock band… until I broke the foot pedal on the drum set!! =O Good news, they’d bought the extended warranty, and they were able to take it in and get a whole new set this am! PHEW!! lol But yes, all in all, we had a wonderful time together, .. a much needed couple nights to be with my hubby and get some time together. We celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary, together. My oldest, Sydney asked, if we were “going on a honey-moon”, very smittenly!! LOL Where on earth did she even learn that term?? So funny! I am impatiently waiting for my girls to be brought back home to me! I have missed them and their cute lil faces!! It’s been sooo quiet around here… I’ve found myself looking in the fridge when I wasn’t even hungry!! It’s just too quiet around here… I could hear my clocks TICKING! lol Hopefully they’ll be home very soon. I can hardly wait! Two nights was a nice thought, but it’s longer than I think I’ll sign up for again. I need to really do some damage control from this weekend and my lack of enthusiasm.
