On a good day Myspace can get up to 4.5 billion pageviews, that’s 4,500,000,000 pages in one day. On a good day Ferodynamics gets up to 12,000 pageviews. So this site is tiny compared to Myspace.

What I would like to know, of all those people on Myspace, how many of them have Myspace questions and do a web search? I know how many of you come here, but how many total Myspace questions are there?

Whateverlife.com is another popular Myspace site and from what I gather now that her media buzz has worn off she’s about 10x as popular as Ferodynamics.com, that’s my guess.

Whateverlife.com is more about pre-made layouts and graphics whereas people come here to tweak/customize existing layouts and ask more technical questions, like about privacy, apps, etc. I may create some Myspace graphics just to see how popular they are, but I find code more interesting. There are other Myspace spinoff sites but so far I haven’t found any active ones to trade links with, still looking.

As for Facebook I’ve looked at the numbers, it continues to grow but this hasn’t affected Myspace. Myspace traffic is steady. Here in Austin it’s very popular because of all the live music. In my experience, artists and creative types gravitate more to Myspace. Quantcast.com has some interesting statistics about both Myspace and Facebook. For example, they point out Myspace is most popular with young hispanic women and Facebook is most popular with young black women.

For the best myspace surveys, I recommend generatorspace.com. They also have glitter, graffiti, contact tables, etc.
