Today, I’m “only” down .6 lbs or 6 tenths. That is awesome actually! I thought I would remain the same, or rise. Yesterday, well, if you read below, you’ll see what I ate and it’s self-explanatory why I thought I would actually go up instead of down.

Today: -.6 lbs (6 tenths)

MTD: - 2.4 lbs - still sucks as I’m already 9 days into May

YTD (3/1/07): -94.2 lbs.

What I had to eat yesterday:

Breakfast: my usual cup of coffee with cream and (organic) brown sugar.

9:00a: Had a leftover omelette thing that I pulled from the fridge which contained fresh mushrooms, peppers, cheese, and potatoes. It could not have been more than about 3 - 4 ounces of it.

10:00a: The pretzels came to the office today, instead of the usual Friday. I tried to resist, I really did! Unfortunately I was unsuccessful. I had a Philly pretzel, with a cheese spread - like cheesewiz after scraping ALL the salt off th pretzel. I can’t stand the salt.

12:00p: Had my lunch which is still some of the frozen meatloaf and carrots I prepacked and froze on Sunday night.

3:00p: had a cup of hot chocolate (to stay away from another pretzel)

6;00p: Dinner - as my spouse is away until Saturday evening on business it was just my daughter and I so I cooked up a delicious mix of scrambled eggs with cheese, and side of (frozen) sausages, and two slices of wheat/grain toast. I put peanut butter and a little bit of grape jelly on the toast. I topped this off with a cup of coffee. Breakfast for dinner! Breaks the monotony.

8:00p: I was working on some new software I purchased back in December. This was the first opportunity I had to actually sit and learn it as I had to learn my way through Photoshop as well. I’m shooting a wedding on June 8th, on a beach down in south jersey and I wanted to add some of the features of this software to the images. So… I spent about two hours working on this and was extremely successful and satisfied with the end results. To celebrate I had a bag of popcorn and 1/2 can of Pepsi with my daughter. I haven’t had soda in sooooo long but for some reason last night I was actually craving some. I didn’t want to drink a can by myself, so I poisoned my daughter along with me. Sorry. Bad joke. If you’ve read this far, now you know why I was incredulous that I actually dropped instead of gained. In my mind I’m now playing “what if”. What if I hadn’t eaten all that other stuff, what if, what if, what if….

Anyway, I hit the hay around 11:30pm last night.
