XP Service Pack 3 can cause problems to your browser.
Microsoft warned users of Windows XP that will not be able to pass different versions of the browser Internet Explorer installed once the third service pack for XP.
Thous users who want to test Internet Explorer 7 will not be able to return to Internet Explorer 6 after installing XP Service Pack 3 (SP3).
The same also applies to users who tested the beta of Internet Explorer 8 after installing the service pack, they no longer can make the future downgrade to older versions of the browser.
This means that users IE8 beta could be blocked, having to handle the bugs and an incomplete version of the software.
Users who currently runs IE7 on XP SP2 will see that Windows Update XP SP3 recommend them as an upgrade high-priority.
Once installed, IE7 will remain on their system. Microsoft said that the reason for this situation was to provide a stable and software to ensure that the latest updates-browser remain active in the operating system.
If IE8 users, Microsoft offers no SP3 through Windows Update to avoid any problems. The company warned users IE8 to uninstall the beta before they choose to install SP3.
