I have been looking for the way for installing subdomain in Go Daddy. There are not direct answer for that. Even a manual from Go Daddy is not clear yet for me.
For this weblog: blog.asepsetiawan.com which is first experience to set up subdomain. Here simple task for you.
1. After you open manage domain, clik one or more add subdomain. For example blog.yourdomain.com
2. In Fath coloumn, one of simple step is click “\” sign to direct your new subdomain.
3. Fill word after “\” for example new directory such as “forum”. This is important for installing new
database with other programme.
4. Wait for while after new directory “forum” appear in root directory your hosting.
5. Proceed to set up new data base with user name and password.
6. If you using WordPress, proceed as usulan. Type:
I hope these simple task usefull.
I wasn’t impressed Godaddy and their hosting. Domain names are fine with Go daddy, but for hosting, I wouldn’t touch them with a 10 foot pole. Read my Godaddy review.
