Shewwww….well..today was a great weigh in and measurement day; especially after TOM came and went. So, I lost 3 lbs and .75 inches in my hips. Yippeee!!!! I’m now down to 207. Only 8 more lbs before i’m finally below the 200 mark. Man on man I can’t wait. It will feel like such a great accomplishment. Well, it already is a great accomplishment. Since I start the P90 workout I’ve dropped from 222.5 to 207 since May 13 which is just under 7 weeks. I’m so amazed at how much better I feel and how much better I look. I mean, 15.5 lbs doesn’t seem like a lot when you’re over 200 lbs, but it really is a big difference.

I really feel like this time I’m going to make it to my goal weight without failing. My highest weight about 4 years ago was 280 lbs. I really was striving to change my eating habits and get this weight off. I got down to 222.5 during those 4 years which was quite a bit of time for that amount of weight, but I did it slow, didn’t pressure myself and the result is some lasting changes in my eating habits. In May I decided I need to once and for all get the rest of this weight off and begin to exercise daily and really focus. Thankfully it is paying off. I feel really incredible and so much stronger. I never thought in 6 weeks time your body could change that quickly.

Well, this morning I got up and did Winsor Pilates for only 10 minutes instead of the 20 minutes. My body was aching so much already and I felt like I was straining myself. Then this afternoon when I went to workout using Power 90 (P90) I felt so deflated like I didn’t have enough energy. I think I need to increase my carbs during my afternoon snack so when I come home after work to workout I have more energy. My legs just didn’t want to move!!! Good grief.

We until tomorrow!

If you get a chance, check out weighins.com. It’s a supportive close-knit community for people wanting to lose weight. With a free membership you can join a weight loss challenge (like the Biggest Loser tv show). You also get a free calorie counter and a personal diet journal. I like it much better than sparkpeople.
