After you try out free web hosting, you may want to start a serious website perhaps one with a good business model or one that you would expect lots of people to come to. Paid web hosting gives you the right solution for that. Paid web hosting offers more disk space and bandwith for your website. Disk space is the amount of memory that stores your files on the server. This shouldn’t be a problem as most websites require little disk space. Bandwith is the amount of downloaded materials from your website to the people around the world visiting your website. Paid web hosting offers considerably more bandwith compared to free paid hosting and caters to websites with high traffic. Like I said before there are no official paid web hosting providers on the internet and below are some of the most recommended paid web hosting solutions for your website. Most paid web hosting providers are also domain registrars. This means that you can get a new domain name with them. Choose your domain name carefully as you will need to stick to it for at least one year and although you can resell it, it takes both time and sometimes capital to do so.

Go daddy offers a complete web hosting solution for webmasters. The plan above is the linux plan meant for websites in the most updated PHP language. If your website is in ASP language, you should choose the similar windows Godaddy is a trusted web hosting company and with one hosting account you can host many websites. The control panel is unique and gives good experience. However the loading time is quite long. It has some one click installer but it does not offer phpbb3 yet. Rather it uses Simple Machine Forum. Go daddy is also a domain registrar and if you buy a hosting plan with them it is also recommended to buy a domain with them for easier installation. With this hosting plan, you can send unlimited automatic emails from their server but if you want to send via uniqe emails, there are more plans you have to buy. I recommend this web host as it is competitive and Godaddy also has discount coupons that sell new domains for as low as $6.95 a year and 20% off hosting plan. Check out this site more often for the coupon codes.

- Yahoo web hosting offers a non-fussy all in one solution for webmasters. Its hosting plan comes with a free domain name that lasts as long as you are still using the plan. This plan uses the Unix Operating system and is only suitable for websites in PHP language. This plan is not for websites written in ASP language. It also offers one click application installer including phpbb forum. The unlimitability of Yahoo Web Hosting can be questioned as there is no server with unlimited space. However it said so far it is comfortable with the space webmasters are currently using on its servers. Yahoo web hosting is meant for websites based in the US and it is not really customizable. If you do not want to go into tinkering your hosting plan, you can go for Yahoo web hosting which will save you the worry and focus on your website.
I wasn’t impressed Godaddy and their hosting. Domain names are fine with Go daddy, but for hosting, I wouldn’t touch them with a 10 foot pole. Read my Godaddy review.
