The CIO Weblog: Microsoft takes a stand with Vista.
My answer to the filthy LIES that the Vice President of marketing of Microsoft is TELLING when he says that Windows Vista is a good product is the following!
I’m not going get into how when Microsoft first started as a company back in the early 1970s, doing an update from their service could take hours. What I am going to say is the following.
As I said before, I have been installing software and computers since 1966. I am 57 years old. I have a 189 IQ, I read it 5000 words per minute with a photographic memory. I have owned two of my own companies, and I’ve been a partner and for other companies. I work for some the largest companies in this country. So for anyone to say that they know more about computers than I do. That would mean they have to be at least 57 years old and that they have been installing computers, and software since 1966. If someone can’t meet those qualifications they do not know more about computers than I do and that is just a fact. That being said, here is why Windows Vista is a terrible program and why I am refusing to give in to Microsoft in any way, shape, or form. During the one year that I tested Vista. This is what I found.
1. 75% of the time. When I would shut Windows Vista down, in order to restart my computer, it would take Windows Vista. Almost 15 minutes just to shut down.
2. Between 85 and 90% of the time, whenever Windows Vista would start up, it would take almost 15 to 20 minutes for Windows Vista to completely load, oftentimes not allowing me to even move my mouse at all until it was finished loading.
3. 95% of the time when starting Windows Vista, I would have to restart my machine two and three times to make sure that all the icons would appear. Because most of the time they would not. And with the cycling time. When you restart Windows Vista being between 10 and 15 minutes just to restart the machine, hours of productivity were completely lost.
4. The following is a list of the programs that ended up having crashes on Windows Vista.
Windows Live Mail
Windows Mail
Windows Sidebar
Windows Slideshow
Google Desktop
MSN Desktop Search
IE7 Pro
Windows Calendar

thunderbird mail
Additionally, these Service companies have had such a terrible time trying to adapt my home services to Windows Vista, that they have now refused to give me any service at all if I use Windows Vista on my home computer:
ATT
Time Warner
Dish Network
Direct TV
In addition to Windows Vista having problems with all of the software, in a three-month period, I had 198 crash reports, in my problems and solutions section of Windows Vista. In 124-hour period, I had 200 crashes. Every time the computer would crash of course, I would have to go through almost 15 minutes to restart the machine. So many hours of lost production time were logged that at one point. I was unable to do any work for weeks.
Two separate Better Business Bureau federal complaints had to be filed in order to be able to resolve any of these conflicts. Additionally, it took two technicians, from the Dell Corp. six hours in order to be able to network Windows Vista with a Windows XP machine.
Additionally, under no circumstances will Windows Vista read any data on a DVD, or CD disc, whereby the CD disc was loaded and prepared on a Windows XP machine. What this means, is if you have any data that you have stored as backup data using the XP format, Windows Vista will not read that data. The only way you can read that data is to network your XP machine with a Windows Vista machine, which will take you approximately between five and six hours to do, and then once you do network, you then must read the data on your XP disk by going through the network to the XP machine and reading the data there. Then you must import the data from the XP machine through the network to the Vista machine. That’s the only way that you can get your XP data onto the Vista machine because Vista will not read any XP data no matter what. In over 150 accounts Vista will not read any data from an XP machine disk.
Additionally, with Windows Vista, requiring to 4 GB of memory just to load the operating system, it can sometimes take almost 1 minute for some of the programs to even load and open.
Additionally, closing IE 7 on Windows Vista can crash the system so badly that it can take five restarts just to regain control of your system.
Additionally, closing IE 7 on Windows Vista can take up to five minutes.
All of this spells a tremendously poor track record for Windows Vista. And since the marketing vice president for Windows is sitting there saying that he’s not going to take this anymore. Let me tell that marketing president this…
Shut up! You are a filthy liar. And nothing you can do with your public relations advertising campaign will convince me or anyone else who is experienced these kinds of horrible problems with Vista that your program is worth our money. And unless you put up and shut up and fix Windows Vista. You are not only do not get my money, but I do recommend that you be sued that your company be sued at every single level everywhere in this country. That is all that your company deserves. Microsoft deserves nothing more than to be sued at every single level in this country right now. Microsoft is refusing to fix any of these problems with Windows Vista, because Microsoft is basically arrogant and most of the people who work at Microsoft are basically so stupid they are refusing to put up and shut up and fix Windows Vista they are refusing to fix any of these problems.
At one time I had to spend 18 hours on the phone with a Windows Vista technician, just to resolve one problem. That was an 18 hour phone call.
At the end of that call, the problem was still not resolved.
There is no way that I’m ever going to put up with that kind of horrible treatment from Microsoft ever again. Not now, and not ever again. And as far as I’m concerned. I don’t care what this vice president of marketing says, and I don’t care what kind of public relations effort that stupid person who calls himself a vice president of marketing at Microsoft does. There is nothing that they can put out as far as a public-relations ad campaign that is going to make me convinced that their Windows Vista is anything more than a piece of garbage.
I have reams of bench tests explaining and showing that Windows Vista is one of the worst pieces of garbage I’ve ever seen in my life.
And for those who think I have a crummy machine. Here are my machine specs.
Intel (R) Core(TM) 2CPU
6600 @ @ 2.40 GHz
1.58GHz 2.00 GB of RAM
so in other words, I have one of the fastest machines made. And still I had the foregoing problems. And that categorically says that the vice president of marketing at Microsoft Corp. is nothing more than of filthy liar. And it also says that the people at Microsoft are nothing but filthy and stupid liars who are refusing to fix Windows Vista. But who are determined to push this horrible product on the general market. Additionally, it says that since they spend millions of dollars developing this lousy program they are refusing to go back and fix it but instead are going to demand that we the people put up and shut up and take what were given.
Not only is this vice president of marketing at Microsoft so stupid that he doesn’t understand that we the people are not going to put up with this, but he doesn’t understand that as far as I’m concerned I’m recommending lawsuits be filed against Microsoft at every single level in this entire country to force them to fix Windows Vista before they release it anymore on the general public. They do not have the right to do this to the people of this country.
Additionally, the only people who I ever talked to during the entire year, who said anything good about Windows Vista were technical IT professionals. None of any of the companies that I did business with on a regular basis wanted to have anything to do with Windows Vista. And I spoke to over 1000 people who were average users throughout the United States and not one had anything good to say about Windows Vista. Not one.
So for this vice president of Microsoft Corp. to come out and say that he’s not imitate any more of this bullying that shows that he is not only arrogant but he’s a stupid liar. As far as I’m concerned, I want Microsoft sued. Microsoft not telling you that in Europe last year, Europe’s sued Microsoft so badly in the largest lawsuit in the history of this world, and they won the lawsuit. And the lawsuit was about Microsoft refusing to separate IE 7, or Internet Explorer, from the Windows architecture. Microsoft lost that sued very badly in a huge multimillion dollar lawsuit. As a result, Microsoft is not allowed to include Internet Explorer with Windows architecture in Europe. Microsoft is not telling anyone in this country about this lawsuit because they are refusing to separate Internet Explorer from Windows architecture in this country because they are so belligerent and they are such a filthy lying company that they are never going to be honest and they are never going to separate Internet Explorer from their architecture.
Track record especially for someone who says they’re the vice president of marketing at Microsoft in that they’re not imitate any more. What are they not going to take anymore? As far as I’m concerned. I’m recommending lawsuits be filed against Microsoft at every level that can possibly be filed. I’m recommending Microsoft be sued everywhere in this country and forced to back up put up and shut up and fix Windows Vista and not be allowed to release Windows Vista. There is no reason for Microsoft to force Windows Vista on the users of this country against our will. And there’s no reason for Microsoft to sit there and arrogantly and say they’re not to put up with any more bullying that is a bunch of lies and I’ve never seen a company lie as much in the general marketplace as the Vice President of marketing is now doing do we the people.
In addition to recommending lawsuits be filed against Microsoft, I’m recommending that a full boycott Microsoft products be initiated immediately, until such time as Microsoft puts up and shut up and fixes these problems in Windows Vista. And simple software patches are not going to fix these problems. There is no reason the program should take up 2 GB of RAM. There is no reason the program should take so long to restart. There’s no reason it should have so many incompatibilities especially with its own products.
And for the vice president of marketing at Microsoft to say anything different is nothing more than showing that he is so stupid and so arrogant and such a filthy liar. He doesn’t deserve to be in business at all. And he certainly not anyone I would hire to work at my company. I would never want him anywhere near my company because all these done is show that he is arrogant and a really filthy liar.
Like I said, I’m dying. I have no agenda here. But I was raised on service ever since I was seven years old. And the one thing that anyone I ever worked with can tell you point-blank, is that I am so far above reproach and I’m one of the most honest people they ever did business with. It also set I’m one of the most reliable. When people hired me they knew they would get the job done no matter what. That is a type of work I was known for and that I am known for. I don’t put up with seconds. I don’t put up with constant mistakes. When I go about doing something it gets done, regardless of any of the problems people want to make excuses for. People who fail make excuses. People who do not fail don’t make excuses. All we’ve heard lately from Microsoft is nothing but excuses. So as far as I’m concerned that vice president of Microsoft needs to put up and shut up and realize that is not a sellers market anymore. It is now a buyers market. People in the United States marketplace, and around the world do not have thousands of dollars to be going out and buying new computers every few years just to satisfy Microsoft’s greed. So either the vice president of marketing at Microsoft will put up and shut up and understand that we the people know that he is a filthy liar and that most of the people at Microsoft are nothing but filthy liars and they are too stupid to fix Windows Vista, or he will end up having most people turn their back on the Microsoft Corporation.
As I said before, Microsoft has never intimidated me since they came and do business in the 1970s. And they’re not going to intimidate me now. There not been a push Windows Vista on me no matter what they do. And there not to convince me that Windows Vista is a good product when they have done nothing to fix any of the problems I’ve stated in this article. And for any IT professional, whether it be Ziff-Davis or the Wall Street Journal, to come out and say that Windows Vista is a good program to me that is nothing more than evidence that those entities have in fact been co-opted either Microsoft Corp.. I have not been co-opted by anybody. Nobody runs me. Nobody owns me. It doesn’t happen. I run me.
And as far as I’m concerned, the Vice President of marketing has no sensitivity to the small and midsize businesses in this country. It is a small and midsize businesses in this country, of these United States, it is actually the backbone of this country. Without the small and midsize businesses of this country the marketing of this country and the financial system of this country would completely collapse. Now that’s a fact. And for the vice president of Microsoft acts so arrogantly that he is going to force Windows Vista on us against our will this shows that he is not only a criminal in the marketplace but that he is such a filthy liar that he can not be trusted under any circumstances. Microsoft has shown not one single thing. As far as evidence that they are willing to fix Windows Vista. They have done nothing to fix any of these problems. They have done nothing to fix the compatibility issue. They’ve done nothing to fix the memory load size issue. They have done nothing to fix the cycle restart issue. They’ve done nothing to fix the Windows display issue. They’ve done nothing to fix the crash cycling issue. They’ve done nothing to fix the IE 7 problems. They have done nothing to fix the Internet Explorer problems with regard to Windows Vista they’ve done nothing to fix the Windows media player problems with Windows Vista. They’ve done nothing to fix the Windows media Center problems issue with Vista. They’ve done nothing to fix the Napster problems with Windows Vista issue. They’ve done none of these things. And yet they’re going to go ahead and set up an ad campaign to try to force us to take Windows Vista? Not on my watch!
As I said before, other than the specific updates for my now Windows XP machine, I am boycotting all Microsoft products until they turn around and put up and shut up and stop marketing Windows Vista completely or fix it so that is not 2 GB large and so that we do not need to buy bigger machines just to run their stupid and horrible software.
I am through wasting my time with this Windows Vista issue. But every time that vice president of marketing at Microsoft opens his mouth and threatens us. As far as we being the people of this country who are their customers, I will not tolerate that. No company has the right to be so belligerent to the people that are their customers, not even Microsoft.
So Microsoft will either learn that they need to put up and shut up and fix Windows Vista or as far as I’m concerned, they need to be sued everywhere in this country.
If Microsoft wants to DARE to say that Windows Vista is a Good Product…. let them FIX THESE ISSUES FIRST… OTHERWISE I STAND WITH WHAT I AM SAYING… WINDOWS VISTA IS GARBAGE AND NOTHING MORE…
BOYCOTT MICROSOFT NOW!
End of line…
