Be very careful where you get your information on the Internet. Many agents will post FSBO friendly information like statistics and articles on who can get you more money…you as FSBO or them as experienced agent. These stats usually come from the National Association of Realtors…who gets their money from keeping 1.3 million agents in business of high commissions so they can collect their dues money. These statistics are massaged before they are published anyhow, and can be very misleading. If the studies were conducted by a third party it would be a whole different story….
Take their information with a grain of salt, but seriously consider the information from truley FSBO friendly sites like www.list2move.com.
