Albania is a tiny but cute country in the south of Europe, not too far from Croatia. It is currently one of the less popular countries in Europe but that is about to change as more and more tourists start to take notice of its sites. This country has unbelievably beautiful, pure white sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and trendy, improving cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. Albanian beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches although of course there are a handful of pebble beaches as well. You could if you want sit in the warm sun on a blanket or rent a sun bed, the option is up to you to make. Most of the beaches are totally untouched by visitors and a handful are so remote that you could quite possibly be at the beach without anyone else, even in spring and summer.
There are a number of exquisite mountain regions in Albania. These regions in the north are great for skiing or hiking and you can also find a few waterfalls and astonishing lakes in the area. Those mountains are exciting to visit but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture leading to many trendy cafes to hang out in. Albania cities such as Saranda are worth seeing to see the unique old city area and also to visit a few museums.
Most Albanian people are very warm and welcoming and will be excited to show you around their country if you spend time there.
