Still moving down. I am thrilled. I am closing out The Zone Diet this week. POsting a couple of pictures from our race in Beaufort over the next few days. It was a fun time with the race and subsequent beachin’ it for a couple of days.

Today I have eaten:

  • Zone smoothie
  • 1/2 Zone BAr (snack)

I don’t know what lunch will be yet. Before that I have to run 5 miles, do an abs workout and then mow the yard. Somewhere in there I will find lunch. I’ll keep you posted.

Later that night:

Well, I did pretty good today. The rest of the food looked like this:

  • 2 sandwhiches for lunch (whole grain bread and low fat ham and cheese). This covered my protein and carbs. I was a little short on fat.
  • 1/2 zone bar (snack)
  • Zone Smoothie for dinner
  • 1/2 ZOne bar (snack)
  • Cheerios (late night snack) - I knew these calories were coming so I skipped most of my fats for the day. It was just a craving for cheerios.

I ran 5 miles today. I did the Abs workout and I mowed the yard so hopefully the cheerios won’t show up on the scale. If they do, hopefully it is a temporary spike. I have a tee time on the golf course tomorrow. I will have to try and take it easy on the brewski. Tomorrow is also Arena Bowl 22! I can’t wait! Go Phily Soul!
