According to US Weekly, Britney Spears has been toning up recently with personal trainer, Dave Van Daff (trainer to ***cat Dolls), at LA’s Bally Total Fitness Gym. The singer, 26, can been seen three days a week working with Van Daff for hour long sessions that mix cardio drills, core work and strength training (free weights and a medicine ball). Van Daf says, We focus on agility, balance and muscle endurance.
Spears’ intense workout is coupled with a well-balanced 1,200 calorie-a-day diet of three meals and three snacks. She’s been eating omelettes, black-bean burritos and lemon chicken as part of her nutritious diet.
Editor’s Comments: Britney’s step towards a complete physical and mental makeover can be a great inspiration for the all of us. Her hour long workout sessions, toning all parts of the body, three days a week, is a reasonable amount of time for people to commit to. Working out with a trainer will keep you on track and push you to complete your intense workouts, even on the days you feel like giving up. Spears’ diet seems to be well-rounded, nutritious and satisfying. This is definitely a fitness and diet plan that can slim you down and tone you up for the long run!
